Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated 16 October 2026.
This policy explains how ConvoDock subscriptions are billed, how to cancel, when you can ask for a refund and what happens if a payment fails. ConvoDock is provided by Digital Leap Marketing (“we”, “us”), based in India. Please read it together with our Terms of Service.
Subscription billing
ConvoDock plans are monthly subscriptions. New workspaces start with a 7-day free trial that does not require a card.
Fees are billed in advance for each monthly period, and the subscription renews each month until it is cancelled. Add-ons (extra users, extra WhatsApp numbers and, on the Starter plan, full message history) are billed in the same monthly subscription as your plan.
Online payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our online reseller and Merchant of Record, which also handles order-related inquiries and returns. Before you pay, the checkout page shows the plan, any add-ons, the price and the billing interval. Taxes may apply; where they do, they are shown at checkout.
Only the workspace owner can subscribe, change billing or cancel. Other team members should ask their workspace owner.
Cancellation
The workspace owner can cancel at any time. In ConvoDock, open Plan & usage and choose Manage billing. This opens the Dodo Payments billing portal, where you can also see your invoices and update your payment method.
The portal offers two ways to cancel:
- Cancel at next billing date. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period, and ends then.
- Cancel now. Your subscription is cancelled immediately, without waiting for the end of the billing period.
You choose a reason and confirm. Before you confirm, check which option you have chosen and the date the cancellation takes effect: not every cancellation waits for the end of the billing period.
Changed your mind? A cancellation scheduled for the next billing date can be undone before that date: choose Keep my subscription on Plan & usage in ConvoDock, or Revoke Cancellation in the billing portal.
Cancelling ends your subscription. To have your workspace and its data deleted, email us as described in our Privacy Policy.
Refunds
Because fees are billed in advance, we do not give partial refunds for the unused part of a billing period when you cancel, whichever way you cancel.
This does not affect any rights you have under consumer protection or other laws that apply to you. Where the law requires a refund, we will give one.
If something has gone wrong with a payment, please contact us. For example, if:
- you were charged twice for the same period;
- you were charged the wrong amount, or charged after your cancellation took effect;
- a payment was made by mistake; or
- you have another reason to ask for a refund.
Email hello@convodock.app with “Billing” in the subject, and include the workspace name, the email address used at checkout, and the date and amount of the charge. We look at each request on its facts and reply by email. Sending a request does not guarantee a refund. Refunds we agree to are issued through Dodo Payments.
As our Terms of Service explain, we do not give refunds or credits for interruptions or restrictions caused by WhatsApp, except where the law requires otherwise.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment does not go through, your subscription’s status and your access can be affected. In ConvoDock, sending messages and adding WhatsApp numbers or team members are paused until the payment is made. Incoming messages keep arriving.
To fix it, the workspace owner can open Plan & usage and choose Manage billing to update the payment method or retry the payment. Renewals paid with Indian cards or UPI can take up to about two days to complete.
What happens next depends on your subscription’s actual status and Dodo Payments’ billing rules, so we cannot promise when or how a failed payment will be retried. If you are not sure where things stand, email us.
